SO, PLEASE ENJOY MY "1954 MOVIE OF THE YEAR" NO. 1 SELECTION...."REAR WINDOW "THE ALFRED HITCHCOCK CLASSIC" STARRING "JAMES STEWART"!!
PLEASE LOOK, LISTEN, LIKE, COMMENT, AND SHARE.....THANKS!!
Rear Window is a 1954 American Technicolormystery thriller film directed by Alfred Hitchcock and written by John Michael Hayes based on Cornell Woolrich's 1942 short story "It Had to Be Murder". Originally released by Paramount Pictures, the film stars James Stewart, Grace Kelly, Wendell Corey, Thelma Ritter and Raymond Burr. It was screened at the 1954 Venice Film Festival.
The film is considered by many filmgoers, critics and scholars to be one of Hitchcock's best and one of the greatest movies ever made. The film received four Academy Award nominations and was ranked No. 42 on AFI's 100 Years...100 Movies list and No. 48 on the 10th-anniversary edition. In 1997, Rear Window was added to the United States National Film Registry in the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". PLOT: Professional photographer L.B. "Jeff" Jeffries breaks his leg while getting an action shot at an auto race. Confined to his New York apartment, he spends his time looking out of the rear window observing the neighbors. He begins to suspect that a man across the courtyard may have murdered his wife. Jeff enlists the help of his high society fashion-consultant girlfriend, Lisa Freemont, and his visiting nurse, Stella, to investigate.

And for today...
I'm thankful that when I asked my 4yo what she was thankful for, she listed everyone in the family and a few experiences before talking about her material possessions. It gives me confidence as a parent.
I'm thankful that I tried meditation this morning because after only 8 minutes I felt amazing and I have felt great all day!
I'm thankful that my husband is bringing home burritos tonight because they're almost as rare as turkey around here. I know that our Thanksgiving will be filled with gratitude even if our bellies aren't filled with turkey.
I'm thankful for warm, comfortable, cute clothes because the temp has dipped and I'm still feeling toasty.
I'm thankful for the health and wellness of myself and my family because we can feel great and focus on helping others.
